The mission of the Center For Clinical Investigation (CCI) is to: provide the infrastructure needed to conduct clinical and translational research in Cleveland; facilitate the transfer of scientific advances to the community; and develop a new generation of clinical researchers that are equipped with the skills needed to efficiently design, implement, and interpret novel studies that address important public health questions.
The CCI is in the Division of General Medical Sciences at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is the academic home of the Cleveland Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (NCRR CTSA Award UL1-RR02498).
CCI faculty and staff have expertise in medical informatics as well as database design and development, study design, clinical data management, and statistical analysis. CCI members also participate in the development and administration of academic programs specifically geared toward clinical investigators.
The CCI offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of clinical investigators. CCI Cores provide specialized expertise that can be used separately or in harmony, allowing for comprehensive and flexible solutions to clinical research projects.
